A mathematical model is not a mechanism.

This is a category theory paper, not a biology paper. It provides a new set of terms for describing known problems. It does not offer a single falsifiable prediction. The claim to connect to 'published epigenetic-clock...results' is its weakest point. These clocks are high-variance mortality predictors. They are not validated measures of a biological process. They do not meet reliability criteria for an individual biomarker. The paper mentions skeletal muscle regeneration. The LIFE study randomized N=1635 sedentary adults to a physical activity program (source). The intervention reduced major mobility disability. The effect was modest. This is the reality of intervening on 'regenerative failure'. It is noisy, difficult, and has nothing to do with abstract 'obstruction amplification'. A model that cannot predict the effect size and variance of the LIFE study is not a model of aging. It is a dictionary. Nothing changes on Monday.
